AMD FreeSync gaming monitors deliver a smooth and stutter-free gaming experience. By syncing the monitor’s refresh rate with your GPU’s performance, FreeSync eliminates screen tearing and stuttering. Whether you’re enjoying fast-paced games or tackling demanding applications, FreeSync ensures fluid motion, sharp visuals, and optimal performance, enhancing your gaming sessions.
FreeSync Monitors
Are you looking for a gaming monitor for your AMD Radeon graphics card? Then a model with AMD FreeSync is the best choice for you. AMD FreeSync dynamically adjusts the refresh rate of your gaming monitor to match variable frame rates that occur due to uneven GPU load when rendering complex game content and lower frame rates during video playback.
What Does AMD FreeSync Do?
By flexibly adjusting the refresh rate of your gaming monitor using AMD FreeSync, screen tearing is avoided. Screen tearing is an artifact that occurs when the sent refresh rate does not match that of your monitor. Therefore, it doesn't matter what odd FPS number your gaming PC is outputting. Whether 53, 117, or 237 FPS, with AMD FreeSync, the refresh rate is dynamically adjusted.
AMD FreeSync: The Basic Certification
Every AMD FreeSync monitor undergoes rigorous certification processes to ensure distortion- and lag-free gaming. Combine your Radeon graphics card with an AMD FreeSync monitor via HDMI or DisplayPort and enjoy smooth gaming without tearing.

Can You Use FreeSync with Nvidia?
While AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible both rely on the same standard, VESA Adaptive Sync, this does not guarantee smooth operation of a gaming monitor without the corresponding certification. Monitors certified with AMD FreeSync have been tested in conjunction with AMD Radeon graphics cards.
What Is the Difference Between G-SYNC and FreeSync?
G-SYNC is from NVIDIA, and FreeSync is from AMD. While AMD has relied on the open VESA Adaptive Sync standard from the beginning, NVIDIA G-SYNC actually refers to two different standards: Classic G-SYNC and G-SYNC Ultimate use a proprietary NVIDIA chip in the monitor to communicate with the graphics card, while NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible uses the same technology as AMD FreeSync. However, it is the NVIDIA certification.
If you have an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card, we recommend a gaming monitor with NVIDIA G-SYNC.
